Quick answer
Most DLT template rejections come from a few fixable mistakes.
| Reason | Fix |
|---|---|
| Wrong variable format, such as {var} or [name] | Use {#var#} exactly |
| Brand or business name missing | Add the name that matches your DLT entity |
| Offer words in a service template | Register it as promotional, or remove the offer |
| Too many variables, little fixed text | Add fixed words around each {#var#} |
| Two variables side by side | Put fixed words between them |
| Shortened links (bit.ly and similar) | Use your own whitelisted domain |
| Message does not make sense on its own | Write a complete sentence |
What to do next
- Read the rejection reason on your DLT portal.
- Fix the template and run it through the DLT template checker.
- Submit it again as a new template.
