Quick answer
To send your first bulk SMS, you need an active account, a DLT-approved sender ID and template, and credits. Then you add your contacts, choose the template and send.
Steps
- Log in to your SMS panel.
- Add numbers. Paste them, or upload an Excel or CSV file.
- Choose the sender ID (header) and the route: promotional, service or transactional.
- Pick your DLT template and fill in the {#var#} parts, such as name or amount.
- Check the length. One SMS is 160 English characters or 70 Hindi/Unicode characters.
- Send a test to your own number first.
- Send now or schedule for later.
Tips
- Promotional SMS can only be sent between 9 AM and 9 PM, and do not reach DND numbers.
- Use the DLT template checker if you are not sure your text matches the template.
- Watch the delivery report after sending. See delivery report statuses.
